Our mission is to contribute to the establishment of such conditions in our country in which people would not be subjected to violence and discrimination based on their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

OUR GOALS

  • Systemic improvement of the situation for the LGBT+ community in Russia.
  • Reduction of the level of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, and enhancement of attitudes toward the LGBT+ community.
  • Supporting organizations working with the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Establishing and developing partner relationships with organizations working with similar problems and groups of beneficiaries and sharing our principles
  • Researching the situation around violation of the rights of members of LGBTQ+community in Russia
  • Helping people subjected to discrimination and/or violence.

registration of Charitable Foundation Sphere as a legal entity

launch of the Organizational Region Development program which is now known as a Resource Support program

Svetlana Zakharova, who previously worked as a communications manager, became the director of Charitable Foundation Sphere
